Green Tips for Ladies on Greenery Day

Fourth of May is Greenery Day in Japan. Let’s share some green tips for ladies on this Greenery Day!

Advise on how to clean and store used fabric napkins:

Keeping used napkins moist will make them easy to wash when you bring them home! Bring a long a reusable ziplock bag to store used napkins while you are out, so they can retain moisture and not dry out which makes them difficult to wash.

An easy tip is the bring along a small spray bottle filled with diluted alkaline detergent. Spritz some of the liquid onto used fabric napkins before popping them into the ziplock bag for storage to keep in moisture and keep out odour while you are out.

Once you get home, simply give the fabric napkins a handwash with your usual laundry detergent or throw them into the washing machine for a quick wash. Just as simple as that!

Storage of fabric napkins when you don’t need them is easy as well! Simply fold them up as shown in the bottom of the picture above and snap it close to keep them nicely folded in a compact size.
